Solution of adjusting ink viscosity

in plastic printing, the viscosity of ink has a great impact on the printing quality. By adjusting the viscosity of ink, it can (4) effectively improve the printing effect

1. The hue is reduced, the ink viscosity becomes lighter, and vice versa, the color becomes darker. However, it is not allowed to blindly reduce the viscosity to change the color, otherwise other problems will occur, such as water lines, lusterless color, etc. In color matching, we should master the variation bias of viscosity of different colors in order to make better use of viscosity. For example, when the primary color yellow has high viscosity, it tends to be red, while when the viscosity is small, it will show green; The green viscosity is larger than the blue phase, and the small viscosity shows the yellow phase

2. The problem of water marks is generally closely related to the printing speed. The lower the printing speed is, the greater the viscosity of the ink is required, and vice versa. If the speed and viscosity do not match well, water marks are easy to appear. Generally, the printing speed is basically fixed, so the problem of water marks is solved by increasing the ink viscosity. Another phenomenon is very similar to water marks. If you don't carefully observe and analyze it, it's easy to solve it by increasing the viscosity like dealing with water marks, but the result is ineffective (or the opposite effect), which many people will ignore. I have personally contacted many printers, who often make this mistake. The difference between watermarks and this phenomenon (temporarily called "flower dots") is that watermarks show that the experimental report can also be programmed and printed according to the format required by users; Dots of very short lines, while "flower dots" show a round dot. The solution is to reduce the viscosity of the ink. If it is too serious, there may be a problem with the quality of the version or the ink. Reducing the viscosity can only improve the effect

3. The small ink viscosity of the knife line can prevent the appearance of the knife line to the greatest extent, especially when printing the layered version, these knife lines are just printed, or very small, and become more and more serious after a short time. In another case, the knife lines all appear at the striated position and are at the starting point

4. The scraping effect has high viscosity and poor scraping effect (refers to scraping unclearly). Especially for black ink, it is generally used with low viscosity to prevent scraping unclearly

5. Poor overprint includes two situations: one is that the ink of the latter color dissolves the previously printed color 3 The parts of the pendulum shall not be disassembled or replaced casually, so as to change color or produce tailing and ghosting. At this time, the ink viscosity of the latter color should be increased; Another situation is that the ink of the latter color cannot be printed on the ink of the former color. At this time, the viscosity of the ink of the latter color should be reduced

6. When the ink transfer printing is shallow, the smaller viscosity is very helpful to improve the ink transfer and avoid the undesirable phenomenon of "little white experts' introduction". It can be seen from the above that viscosity is closely related to many printing problems. Many problems can be solved by mastering the adjustment of viscosity
